Big Brothers/Big Sisters of North Alabama serves children between the ages of 5 and 13, mostly from single-parent families. The agency's goals are to help these children reach their full potential, while assisting them in positive social, emotional and character development. This goal can be reached by matching children with competent, dedicated, appropriate and committed volunteers. Big Brothers/Big Sisters of North Alabama is a fully affiliated agency of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America. Full affiliation is the highest ranking an agency can achieve, based on an evaluation of its service, delivery and administrative capabilities. To ensure quality services, a Board of Directors, comprised of community leaders, governs the agency.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Alabama is celebrating our 25th anniversary in the North Alabama community. We will have a celebration on Thursday, July 26th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Redstone Federal Credit Union Educational Atrium located at 220 Wynn Drive in Huntsville.
